The Hikvision DS-7616NXI-K1 is a 16-channel 1U K Series AcuSense 4K network video recorder for IP cameras. It accepts up to 160 Mbps of incoming camera bandwidth, records cameras of up to 12 MP, and shows live and recorded video on a monitor through HDMI (up to 4K) or VGA. It holds one SATA hard drive for recording.
16 IP camera channels: You can connect up to 16 IP cameras through your network switch, with a total incoming bandwidth of 160 Mbps. The recorder supports recording resolutions from 12 MP down to lower resolutions such as 1080p and 720p, so it can be used with a mix of camera models.
AcuSense human and vehicle recognition: The recorder uses Hikvision AcuSense deep-learning analysis to tell people and vehicles apart from other motion. This reduces false alarms, so alerts focus on people and vehicles instead of every movement in the picture.
4K HDMI and VGA outputs: The HDMI output supports up to 3840 × 2160 (4K), and there is also a VGA output. You can connect the recorder directly to a TV or monitor to watch live view and playback without a computer.
H.265+ compression: The recorder supports H.265+, H.265, H.264+ and H.264. This lets it work with cameras that stream in the newer H.265 formats as well as the older H.264 formats.
Playback, audio and remote access: Up to 16 channels can be played back at the same time. The recorder has one RCA audio output and supports two-way audio, and it connects to your network through a Gigabit Ethernet port for remote viewing.
Good to know
This recorder has no built-in PoE ports: cameras need a separate PoE switch or their own power supplies. The hard drive is not included. The DS-7616NXI-K1 is made in several hardware versions (K1, K1(B), K1(D), K1(E)) that differ in decoding capacity, maximum hard-drive size and some AI functions; the specifications below are only those shared by all versions.
