The EZVIZ H8c Pro 2K is an outdoor pan and tilt Wi-Fi camera that records at 2304 × 1296 (3MP). Its motorized head turns 350° horizontally and 80° vertically, and it combines AI human shape detection with auto tracking, color night vision and a built-in siren and strobe light. It connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi or a wired RJ45 Ethernet port.
2K resolution with pan and tilt: The 2304 × 1296 image gives more detail than a 1080p camera, and the motorized head (pan 350°, tilt 80°) lets one camera cover a yard, a garage entrance or a parking area that a fixed camera would miss. You move the view from the EZVIZ App.
AI human shape detection with a custom zone: The camera recognizes moving human shapes and sends an alert to your phone, which cuts down on alerts from things that are not people. You can also set the area of the image where detection is active.
Auto tracking: When the camera detects a walking person, it locks on and turns its lens to keep the person in the picture.
Up to 12 preset positions: In the EZVIZ App you can save up to 12 viewing spots, such as the gate, the backyard and the garage, and send the camera back to any of them with one tap.
Three night vision modes: Full-color night vision uses the F1.6 lens and two built-in spotlights to show color images at night. Black-and-white infrared night vision reaches up to 30 m without visible light, so it does not disturb neighbors. In smart mode, the camera turns on the light only when it detects human motion.
Active defense and two-way talk: When an intruder is detected, the camera can sound a siren and flash its spotlights. You can also speak to visitors from your phone through the EZVIZ App.
Voice assistants and H.265: The camera works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can pull up the video feed by voice. H.265 compression uses about half the storage space of H.264, according to EZVIZ lab data.
Good to know
The microSD card (up to 512 GB) is not included. EZVIZ CloudPlay cloud storage needs a subscription and is available only in certain markets. Wi-Fi is 2.4 GHz only, and the Ethernet port is 10/100 Mbps. The camera is powered by a DC 12V / 1A adapter. The spotlights do not flash for active defense when color night vision mode is on. Google Assistant is not available in some languages and countries.
