The Hikvision DS-7604NXI-K1 is a 4-channel 1U K Series AcuSense 4K network video recorder. It records IP cameras up to 12 MP, outputs 4K over HDMI, and runs facial recognition, perimeter protection and Motion Detection 2.0 on the recorder itself.
4 channels up to 12 MP: Up to 4 IP cameras connect with 40 Mbps of incoming bandwidth, at recording resolutions up to 12 MP.
AcuSense on the recorder: The NVR itself runs facial recognition, perimeter protection and Motion Detection 2.0, which classifies humans and vehicles to reduce false alarms.
4K HDMI output: The HDMI output goes up to 4K (3840 × 2160) at 30 Hz, and VGA up to 1920 × 1080. You can view high-resolution cameras on a 4K screen.
Gigabit network and storage: A 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 port, one SATA bay, USB 2.0 ports on the front and rear, one RCA audio output and two-way audio are built in. The recorder supports up to 128 remote connections and ONVIF profiles S and G.

- Hikvision makes three hardware versions of this model: DS-7604NXI-K1, K1(D) and K1(E). Only the specifications shared by all three are listed here; the version is on the label.
- Maximum hard-drive size per the official datasheets: 10 TB on the base version and 16 TB on K1(D) and K1(E).
- No built-in PoE ports are listed in the official datasheets; cameras need a PoE switch or their own power supplies.
