The Hikvision DS-2CD2043G2-LI is a 4 MP (2688 × 1520) outdoor bullet IP camera from the Pro Series with AcuSense. Its Smart Hybrid Light combines IR and white light with a range of up to 40 m, so it can show the scene in black and white or in color at night, and it is powered over the network cable (PoE) or by 12 VDC.

Smart Hybrid Light, up to 40 m: The camera has both infrared and white supplement lights, plus a smart supplement light function. In practice, this lets you use discreet IR night vision or use the white light to see colors at night, for example the color of a car or of clothing, up to 40 m away.

AcuSense human and vehicle detection: Line crossing and intrusion detection can be set to alarm on people and vehicles as target types. This reduces false alarms from other moving objects, so the alerts you receive are more likely to be the ones that matter.

Clear image in difficult light: A 1/3" progressive scan CMOS sensor with a minimum illumination of 0.005 lux in color and 120 dB true WDR helps keep details visible when there is strong backlight, such as an entrance facing the street or a gate in direct sun.

H.265+ compression: Support for H.265+, H.265, H.264+ and H.264 reduces the bandwidth and storage the camera uses, so your recorder or memory card holds more days of recording.

Built for outdoor use: The metal housing is rated IP67 against water and dust and operates from -30 °C to 60 °C. A microSD slot (up to 512 GB) allows on-board recording.

Choice of lens, 2.8 mm or 4 mm: We sell this camera with a 2.8 mm lens or a 4 mm lens, both F1.6. The 2.8 mm lens gives the wider view (104° horizontal), while the 4 mm lens gives a narrower view (84° horizontal) that shows a smaller area in more detail. Who it's for / Works with

The camera supports ONVIF for use with compatible recorders and software. Power can come from a PoE switch or PoE recorder port (IEEE 802.3af), or from a 12 VDC adapter.

Good to know

The DS-2CD2043G2-LI version has no built-in microphone; the built-in dual microphone is only on the -LI2U version. The camera connects through a 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet port.
