The EZVIZ EB3 4G (model CS-EB3-R200-1K3FL4GA) is an outdoor battery camera that connects to the internet through a 4G LTE nano SIM card instead of Wi-Fi. It records in 2K (2304 × 1296) with a 3 MP sensor, runs on a built-in 5,200 mAh rechargeable battery, and is IP65 rated for outdoor use.
Available options: camera without solar panel or with solar panel, each with or without installation.
4G connection for sites without Wi-Fi: Because it uses a mobile data SIM card, the camera can watch places with no internet line and no power socket, such as farms, construction sites, warehouses or a house under construction. You still get live view and alerts on your phone through the EZVIZ app.
Battery and solar power: The 5,200 mAh battery removes the need for a power cable at the mounting point. The camera works with compatible EZVIZ solar panels, so it can be kept charged by sunlight instead of being taken down to recharge.
Always-On Video (AOV) mode: In AOV mode the camera keeps recording all day in a low-frame-rate, power-saving way, so you have a continuous record instead of only short clips triggered by motion. This feature needs a microSD card installed in the camera.
AI human and vehicle detection: The camera recognizes human and vehicle shapes, which reduces alerts caused by other movement such as trees or animals.
Color night vision and active defense: Both infrared and color night vision reach up to 15 m. On detection, the built-in siren and strobe light can be triggered to warn off intruders, and two-way talk lets you speak to people at the camera from your phone.
Storage and smart-home control: Video is stored on a microSD card of up to 512 GB (sold separately) or on EZVIZ CloudPlay (subscription). H.265 compression reduces storage and mobile data use compared with H.264, and the camera works with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
Good to know
The EB3 4G cannot connect over Wi-Fi; it works only on a 4G network. It needs a nano SIM card with an active data plan (not included). The supported LTE frequency bands depend on the regional version of the camera. The solar panel is not included in the camera box, and the DC 5V/2A power adapter is sold separately. The spotlight does not flash when color night vision mode is on. Google Assistant and Alexa are not available in all regions and languages.
