The Hikvision DS-7608NXI-K1 is an 8-channel K Series AcuSense network video recorder (NVR) for IP cameras, in a compact 1U case. It supports 4K (8 MP) cameras, outputs 4K over HDMI and records to one SATA hard drive of up to 10 TB.

8 IP camera channels: Connect up to 8 IP cameras over your network and record them all on one recorder. The NVR has no built-in PoE ports, so the cameras are powered by a PoE switch or their own adapters and connected through the network.

AcuSense technology: Hikvision's AcuSense technology is built in, including perimeter protection for the area covered by your cameras.

4K HDMI and VGA output: Connect a TV or monitor directly: the HDMI output goes up to 4K (3840 × 2160) and the VGA output up to 1920 × 1080, so you can watch live view and playback on site without a computer.

H.265+ compression: Support for H.265+, H.265, H.264+ and H.264 reduces the size of recordings, so the same hard drive keeps footage for more days.

Storage and audio: One SATA bay takes a hard drive of up to 10 TB. The recorder also has an RCA audio output and two-way audio.

Good to know

This model has no built-in PoE ports, so the cameras need a PoE switch or their own power adapters. A hard drive is needed for recording.
