AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 Bluetooth 5.0 PCIe Adapter | Archer TX3000E

The TP-Link Archer TX3000E is a PCI Express card that adds dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth to a desktop PC. It is rated AX3000, with up to 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, and it comes with two high-gain antennas on a magnetized base that you can place on top of the case.

Wi-Fi 6 with 160 MHz channels: The card supports 802.11ax with 160 MHz channels and 1024-QAM on 5 GHz, which is how it reaches up to 2402 Mbps. With a Wi-Fi 6 router this gives a desktop PC a much faster wireless link than a Wi-Fi 5 card.

Magnetized antenna base: The two high-gain dual-band antennas sit on a magnetic base with a 1 m RF cable, so you can move them away from the back of the PC to a spot with better reception, for example on top of the case or the desk.

Bluetooth on the same card: The card also adds Bluetooth to the PC, so you do not need a separate Bluetooth dongle. Bluetooth works through the included header cable, which connects the card to a USB 2.0 header on the motherboard.

WPA3 security and low-profile bracket: The card supports WPA3 Wi-Fi encryption as well as WPA/WPA2. A low-profile bracket is included for mini-tower cases.

Desktop PCs with a free PCI Express slot (x1, x4, x8 or x16) running Windows 11 or Windows 10 (64-bit).

Good to know

Windows 11 or Windows 10 64-bit only. Bluetooth needs a free USB 2.0 header on the motherboard. Wi-Fi 6 speeds and 160 MHz channels need a router that supports them. The Bluetooth version depends on the hardware version: TP-Link lists Bluetooth 5.0 for V1 to V3 and Bluetooth 5.3 for V4; the version is printed on the box label.
