The EZVIZ BM1 is a battery-powered Wi-Fi baby monitor camera that streams 1080p Full HD video to the EZVIZ app on your phone. It has a 2000 mAh built-in battery, so it works without a cable during use, and it adds crying detection, baby activity detection, out-of-crib alerts and two-way talk.
Available colors: Pink (Rabbit version) and Blue (Bear version).
Crying detection with soothing music: When the camera detects crying, it can automatically play soothing music to help calm the baby. This helps when you cannot reach the room right away.
Baby activity detection and out-of-crib alerts: Activity detection uses a human-shape algorithm to recognise the baby's movement. You can also set a monitoring area around the crib in the app, and the camera alerts you when the baby leaves that area.
Two-way talk: The built-in microphone and speaker let you listen to the room and talk to your baby through the EZVIZ app.
Night vision without a visible red light: Infrared night vision covers up to 5 m in the dark, and EZVIZ states it has no visible red or flashing light, so it does not disturb the baby's sleep.
Wire-free with a 2000 mAh battery: The camera runs on its built-in 2000 mAh battery, so there are no cords near the crib. EZVIZ states about seven hours in always-on mode based on its lab tests. It is powered and charged from a DC 5V/2A supply.
Voice assistants: In addition to the EZVIZ app, the live feed can be started by saying "Hey Google" or "Alexa".
Good to know
The camera connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only (no 5 GHz). The power adapter and microSD card are sold separately. EZVIZ CloudPlay cloud storage requires a subscription. Google Assistant is not available in some languages and countries.
