BOYA BY-M1 Lavalier Microphone Micro-Cravate
The BOYA BY-M1 is a wired clip-on (lavalier) condenser microphone with an omnidirectional pickup pattern. It plugs in with a gold-plated 3.5 mm 4-pole (TRRS) plug on a 6 m cable and is powered by a replaceable LR44 battery.
Omnidirectional pickup: The microphone picks up sound equally from all directions, so the voice is still recorded when the speaker turns their head. Clipped to a collar or shirt, it stays close to the mouth for clear speech.
Long 6 m cable: The 6 m (20 ft) cable gives the speaker room to move away from the camera or phone, for example when filming an interview or a presentation from a distance.
Works with phones and cameras: The 3.5 mm 4-pole plug connects to smartphones, and the included 1/4" adapter lets you connect it to equipment with a 6.35 mm input. It is compatible with smartphones, DSLR cameras, camcorders, audio recorders and PCs.
Battery-powered condenser capsule: An LR44 button battery powers the condenser capsule. The battery is included and replaceable.
