CAT6 UTP Network Cable (Solid Copper, 0.55 mm, Orange) 305m | Hikvision DS-1LN6U-SC0

The Hikvision DS-1LN6U-SC0 is a Category 6 U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair) network cable with solid bare copper conductors of 0.55 mm (23 AWG) and an orange PVC jacket. It comes on a 305 m drum and is built to ISO/IEC 11801 and ANSI/TIA-568-C.2.

You can buy the full 305 m drum, or buy it cut by length in steps of 10 meters (the "Per 10 Meter" option).

Solid bare copper conductors: Each conductor is solid bare copper with 99.95% copper content and a diameter of 0.55 ± 0.005 mm (23 AWG). Solid copper keeps the DC resistance low, at no more than 9.38 Ω per 100 m.

Category 6 performance: The cable is a Cat6 U/UTP design that follows ISO/IEC 11801 and ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 and is RoHS 2.0 compliant. Its impedance is 100 ± 15 Ω up to 100 MHz and 100 ± 25 Ω from 100 to 250 MHz.

Pair separator and rip-cord: The four pairs are insulated with HDPE and kept apart by an internal separator. A rip-cord under the jacket lets you open the sheath quickly without damaging the pairs.

Orange PVC jacket: The outer jacket is orange PVC with a diameter of 6.00 ± 0.30 mm, which makes the run easy to recognise during installation.

305 m drum: The full drum holds 305 ± 1.5 m of cable and weighs about 12.3 kg, so one box covers many long runs on a project.

Good to know

This is an unshielded (U/UTP) cable supplied as bulk cable; it has no connectors on the ends.

The cable is rated for ambient temperatures of -20 °C to 75 °C and an operating voltage of 60 V.
