The Cudy RE1200 Outdoor is an AC1200 dual-band Wi-Fi 5 range extender and access point in an IP65 weatherproof case. It delivers up to 867 Mbps on 5 GHz and 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, is powered by 24 V passive PoE through its Ethernet cable, and mounts on a wall or pole to bring Wi-Fi to gardens, yards and other outdoor areas.
AC1200 dual-band Wi-Fi: The two bands work at the same time: 867 Mbps on 5 GHz for faster devices and 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz for longer reach. MU-MIMO and beamforming help it serve several devices and direct the signal toward them.
Built for outdoor use: The unit has an IP65 water- and dust-proof housing and 4 kV lightning surge protection on the Ethernet port. Cudy rates it for operation from -20 to 60 °C, so it can stay installed outdoors all year.
Single-cable power (24 V passive PoE): Power and data travel over one Ethernet cable from the included 24 V passive PoE adapter. You only need one cable run to the mounting point, and the adapter stays indoors.
Extender or access point: Use it as a wireless extender to repeat an existing Wi-Fi network, or as an access point connected by cable to your router. Setup with a Cudy Mesh router can be done by WPS or Ethernet.
Cudy Mesh satellite: With a Cudy Mesh router or access point, the RE1200 Outdoor can join the network as a mesh satellite node, so outdoor coverage becomes part of the same Wi-Fi network as your indoor devices.
Detachable antennas and mounting kit: Two detachable dual-band antennas with RP-SMA connectors are included, together with a kit for wall or pole mounting.

Requires an existing router or gateway. The mesh feature works with Cudy Mesh routers and access points.
Good to know
The Ethernet port is 10/100 Mbps. The unit is powered by 24 V passive PoE from the included adapter. The PoE adapter is not waterproof and must be installed indoors.
