The UGREEN DP118 is a VESA-certified DisplayPort 2.1 cable with a DisplayPort male connector on each end. It supports up to 40 Gbps bandwidth (UHBR10) and resolutions up to 16K@30Hz with DSC, or 4K@240Hz, and it is backward compatible with DisplayPort 1.4, 1.3 and 1.2.

DisplayPort 2.1 with 40 Gbps: The cable carries up to 40 Gbps (UHBR10), almost three times the bandwidth of DisplayPort 1.4. This is what allows high resolutions and high refresh rates over a single cable, such as 4K at 240Hz for a fast gaming monitor.

High resolution and refresh rate: UGREEN rates it for 16K@30Hz on a single screen (using DSC 1.2a) and 4K@240Hz. The cable also supports HDR, HDCP 2.2 and FEC (forward error correction), so protected content plays and the signal stays stable.

Gaming and multi-monitor features: The cable supports FreeSync, G-Sync, VRR and MST. With MST you can run more than one monitor from a single DisplayPort output when your graphics card and monitors support it.

Pin 20 disabled: The DP_PWR pin (pin 20) is not connected in this cable. This avoids the boot-loop problems that a powered pin 20 can cause between a graphics card and a monitor.

Durable build: The cable has a braided nylon jacket, triple shielding against interference, 28AWG tinned-copper conductors and aluminium-alloy connector housings.

Who it's for / Works with

Any device with a full-size DisplayPort port: graphics cards from NVIDIA and AMD, gaming and office monitors, and computers. It also works with older DisplayPort 1.4, 1.3 and 1.2 devices.

Good to know

The resolution and refresh rate you get depend on your graphics card and monitor: to use DisplayPort 2.1 speeds, both devices must support DisplayPort 2.1. Because pin 20 is disabled, adapters or dongles that take their power from the DisplayPort pin 20 will not work with this cable.
