The DSPPA DSP8064 is a 40 W two-way wall mount speaker with a power tap. It works on 70 V or 100 V PA lines or on an 8 Ω amplifier output, using a 6.5" woofer and a 1" tweeter in a fireproof ABS cabinet with an aluminium grille. It is available in black or white.
Choose the color in the options: Black (DSPPA code DSP8064B) or White (DSP8064W).
Key Features
Rear power knob for 70 V, 100 V or 8 Ω: A knob on the back selects the input mode and power. On a 70 V line the taps are 40 W - 20 W - 10 W - 5 W - 2.5 W, on a 100 V line 40 W - 20 W - 10 W - 5 W, and in 8 Ω mode the speaker takes 40 W. One model can therefore be used on a long multi-speaker PA line or driven directly by a low-impedance amplifier.
Two-way sound: The 6.5" woofer has a polypropylene diaphragm and the 1" tweeter a natural silk diaphragm, in a bass-reflex (inverse-phase) design. The speaker covers 65 Hz - 20 kHz with a sensitivity of 91 ±2 dB and a maximum SPL of 107 ±2 dB at 1 m, for clear speech and background music.
Durable materials: The grille is made of 1060 pure aluminium with hardening and anti-oxidation treatment, so it does not deform or rust easily. The cabinet is thickened UL94V-0 grade fireproof ABS, and the mounting bracket has a rust-proof treatment.
Who it's for / Works with
DSPPA lists hotels, schools, offices and factories where background music and paging are needed. The speaker works with a 70 V / 100 V PA amplifier, or with an amplifier that has an 8 Ω output.
Good to know
- The DSP8064 is a passive speaker: it has no built-in amplifier, Bluetooth or network input (those are in DSPPA's separate active series such as DSP6604/DSP6606/DSP6608).
- The amplifier is not part of this product: the speaker must be wired with speaker cable to a suitable PA amplifier.
