DSPPA 8 Channel Audio Mixer /DMX08
The DSPPA DMX08 is an 8-channel mixing console that mixes microphones and line sources into a stereo output and group outputs. It adds built-in DSP effects, USB playback and recording, and Bluetooth music playback, in a body of 385 × 367 × 100 mm.
8 balanced microphone channels. The DMX08 has 8 XLR balanced mono channel inputs with a low-noise circuit design and large headroom. Each mono channel also has a TRS line input, so it takes microphones or line-level sources.
Per-channel control. Every channel has a 3-band EQ (high 12 kHz, mid 2.5 kHz, low 80 Hz, ±15 dB), a MUTE switch and a 60 mm fader. You can shape and balance each voice or instrument separately.
Outputs, AUX and return. There is 1 stereo bus output and 2 AUX bus outputs (including FX), plus 1 return and 1 RAC output. AUX sends can feed an external effects unit or a monitor system, and a phones socket lets you listen to the mix.
Phantom power and effects. Built-in 48 V phantom power runs condenser microphones without an external supply. 16 built-in DSP effects can be added to the mix directly.
USB, Bluetooth and metering. USB audio playback and USB recording are supported, and Bluetooth plays MP3 music from a phone. An LED display shows the playback status and a 10-segment, three-colour meter shows the levels.
Who it's for / Works with
DSPPA says the stereo input channels take TRS and RCA line inputs, so the mixer connects to microphones, line-level devices and stereo synthesizers.
Good to know
- Power supply is 100-240 V, 50 Hz.
- The 30 W figure in DSPPA's table is not explained further, so it is not listed here as amplifier power.
