The DSPPA DSP118 is a 10 W miniature satellite speaker for 8 Ω (low-impedance) amplifier outputs. It uses a 2.75" paper cone driver in a small ABS housing of 94 x 83 x 118 mm, and comes with a bracket for mounting on walls or ceilings at different angles.

Key Features

Low-impedance 8 Ω input: The DSP118 is an 8 Ω constant-resistance speaker with a rated RMS power of 10 W. It connects directly to the 8 Ω speaker output of an amplifier and has no line transformer, so it is meant for short cable runs such as a shop, bar or home system.

Small size, full-range sound: A single 2.75" paper cone driver covers 100 Hz to 20 kHz (±3 dB) with a sensitivity of 85 ±3 dB. DSPPA describes it as one of the smallest loudspeakers in its range, so it blends into an interior without taking over the room.

Bracket mounting at any angle: The supplied bracket lets you mount the speaker in corners or on solid surfaces such as walls or ceilings and aim it at various angles. Installation is simple: fix the bracket, connect the speaker wire to the phoenix connector, and attach the speaker to the bracket.

Good to know

• The DSP118 is the 8 Ω version with no power taps. For a 100 V line system, DSPPA makes the DSP119 version with a transformer.
• The amplifier is not part of this product: the speaker must be wired with speaker cable to a suitable PA amplifier.
