Extreme Switch Mate / SMate2
The SONOFF S-MATE2 Extreme Switch Mate connects to an ordinary 1, 2 or 3-button wall switch and turns it into a remote controller for your SONOFF smart devices. It runs on a CR2477 coin battery, so it needs no neutral wire in the mounting box. It works as an eWeLink-Remote sub-device together with an eWeLink-Remote gateway such as the SONOFF MINIR4.
Keep your existing switch: The S-MATE2 sits behind your current wall switch and supports 1, 2 and 3 channels. It works with rocker and push-button switches, so you keep the look of your wall while gaining smart control.

No neutral wire needed: Because it is battery powered, the S-MATE2 does not need a neutral wire. That makes it suitable for older mounting boxes where only the live wire is available.
Local control with eWeLink-Remote: After pairing it with an eWeLink-Remote gateway device such as the MINIR4 and setting a local scene, a press on your wall switch controls the paired device directly through the eWeLink-Remote signal.

More actions on push buttons: When the S-MATE2 is connected to a push-button switch, double-click and long-press are available in addition to a single press, so one button can run more than one action.
Long battery life: SONOFF rates the CR2477 battery for up to 5 years of use (lab tested), and the module itself is only 40.3 x 37.4 x 18.3 mm.
Who it's for / Works with
eWeLink-Remote gateway devices such as the SONOFF MINIR4. Ordinary 1/2/3-button rocker or push-button wall switches.
Good to know
- The S-MATE2 is a sub-device: it needs an eWeLink-Remote gateway device (for example MINIR4) to control a load.
- Double-click and long-press work only when it is connected to a push-button switch.
- Battery life of up to 5 years is SONOFF's lab-tested figure; real use may differ.
