The EZVIZ 24W Battery Solar Panel (CS-PBC24-R100-20AH) is a 24 W monocrystalline solar panel with a built-in 75 Wh battery, made to charge EZVIZ outdoor battery cameras. It stores solar energy so the cameras keep getting power on cloudy days, and it has two USB-A outputs to charge two cameras at the same time.
Built-in 75 Wh battery: The panel has its own 75 Wh (14.6V 5000mAh) rechargeable battery that stores the energy collected during the day. This means the cameras can keep charging from the stored energy when sunlight is weak, instead of relying only on direct sun.
Charges two cameras at once: With two USB-A output ports, one panel can be connected to two battery cameras and charge them simultaneously. The two included 3-meter power cables let you mount the cameras where you need them and place the panel in a sunny spot.
Monocrystalline solar cells: The panel uses high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon cells with a conversion efficiency of up to 23%. EZVIZ notes that the actual charging efficiency varies with sunlight intensity and other environmental factors.
Battery status in the app: With supported cameras that connect over Bluetooth (EB3-R200, BC1c-R100, CB5-R100, EB5-R100), the EZVIZ App shows the panel's battery status and power management information.
Weatherproof build: The panel is rated IP65, with a durable frame and stainless steel screws, and works from -20°C to 60°C. An adjustable bracket allows pole or wall mounting.
Who it's for / Works with
EZVIZ states that all EZVIZ outdoor battery cameras are compatible with this solar panel. It suits large outdoor areas such as gardens, farms, camping sites and construction sites, where running mains power to the camera is difficult. In EZVIZ testing with an EB8 camera, the panel (75 Wh) plus the camera battery (38 Wh) gave about 60 hours of estimated use in always-recording mode, and a full charge of both took 4.7 hours under standard test conditions.
Good to know
App battery monitoring works only with the Bluetooth-capable cameras listed above. Battery cameras should be charged within 0-45°C. Battery life varies with settings, usage and temperature, and the EB8 figures above will be different with other cameras or usage patterns.
