EZVIZ CB5 4K Solar Battery Camera
The EZVIZ CB5 4K (model CS-CB5-R100-2F8WFL) is an outdoor Wi-Fi battery camera with an integrated solar panel, recording in 4K (3840 × 2160) with an 8 MP sensor. It runs on a built-in 10,400 mAh battery, is IP65 rated, and needs no power cable, hub or separate solar panel to work.
Integrated solar panel and large battery: The solar panel built into the camera charges the 10,400 mAh battery from sunlight. EZVIZ states that about two hours of direct sunlight a day keep it running, and that the battery alone lasts up to 180 days without solar charging in its lab test (about 5 minutes of activity per day). Real results depend on sunlight and how often the camera records.
4K Ultra HD video: The 8 MP sensor records in 3840 × 2160, so small details such as faces and number plates are clearer when you zoom in on a recording. The 2.8 mm lens gives a wide 113° horizontal view.
Always-On Video (AOV) mode: In AOV mode the camera captures images at set intervals to build a continuous time-lapse of the day, and switches to normal video when it detects human activity. This needs a microSD card in the camera.
AI human and vehicle detection: The camera tells people and vehicles apart from other movement, so you receive fewer unwanted alerts. EZVIZ states these detection features work without a subscription.
Color night vision: Built-in spotlights give full-color images at night, with color and infrared night vision both reaching up to 15 m. A smart mode can switch between the two automatically.
Wi-Fi 6 connection: The camera supports 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) on 2.4 GHz for a more stable connection when mounted outside the house. It also offers two-way talk through the EZVIZ app.
Good to know
The camera uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only and needs at least 8 Mbps of network bandwidth. The microSD card (up to 512 GB) and the DC 5V/2A power adapter are sold separately. An extra add-on solar panel can be connected only if it is an EZVIZ solar panel with a Type-C cable (not included). Cloud storage is only available in some markets.
