The Hikvision DS-QAPAR50-4 is a 4-channel Class D professional power amplifier in a 1U rack chassis. It delivers 4 × 500 W into 8 Ω in stereo mode, or 2 × 1530 W into 8 Ω in bridge mode, with four XLR inputs and four SPEAKON outputs for passive loudspeakers.
Key Features:
Four Channels in 1U: Four independent amplifier channels in a single 1U rack unit, so one amplifier can power several speaker lines or zones and save rack space.
Efficient Class D Design: A Class D digital amplifier with power efficiency of up to 90%. Less power is wasted as heat, which keeps the unit compact and cooler in a rack.
Stereo or Bridge Mode: Run the channels in stereo (4 × 500 W at 8 Ω, 4 × 765 W at 4 Ω) or bridge channel pairs for higher power (2 × 1530 W at 8 Ω). Each channel is controlled independently, and switches select mode, gain and the limiter.
Wide-Range PFC Power Supply: The PFC switching power supply accepts 90 to 260 VAC at 50/60 Hz, so the amplifier keeps working through wide mains voltage variation.
Low Noise and Distortion: Signal-to-noise ratio of 105 dB or more (A-weighted) and typical THD of 0.01%, with a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz (+0/-0.5 dB).
Built-in Protection and Quiet Cooling: Protection circuits cover over-temperature, DC, short circuit, signal overload, soft start and power-supply over-current. The low-noise variable-speed fan stays silent at low temperatures.
Who it's for / Works with: Sound reinforcement for stages, performance venues and larger spaces that need to drive high-power passive loudspeakers.
Good to know: This is a power amplifier only. It needs a line-level source such as a mixing console or audio processor (maximum input level 14 V) and passive loudspeakers connected by SPEAKON cable; the source, speakers and cables are sold separately.
