The Hikvision DS-2CD2787G2H-LIPTRZS is an 8 MP (3840 × 2160) Smart Hybrid Light dome network camera with ColorVu and a motorized 2.8 to 12 mm varifocal lens. Pan, tilt, rotate and zoom are adjusted remotely, which makes installation and later changes easier. It is rated IP66 and IK10 and is powered by PoE (802.3at) or 12 VDC.
Motorized PTRZ: Pan (0° to 350°), tilt (0° to 85°), rotation (0° to 350°) and zoom are set from the software or web browser. You can frame the scene correctly without climbing up to the camera again.
ColorVu with an F1.2 lens: The 1/1.8" sensor and the F1.2 aperture give color images down to 0.0028 lux, and the white light keeps the picture in color at night when needed.
Smart Hybrid Light: The camera has IR, white light and Smart Hybrid Light modes, with a range of up to 40 m. You can choose IR for black-and-white night video or white light for color.
Varifocal 2.8 to 12 mm lens: The view goes from 112.3° wide to 41.2° at tele. The DORI range reaches detection at 220 m and identification at 22 m at the tele end.
130 dB WDR: Wide dynamic range keeps faces and details visible when there is strong backlight, such as at entrances and windows.
Human and vehicle classification: Deep learning classifies people and vehicles for motion detection and perimeter protection (line crossing, intrusion, region entrance and exit), which cuts false alarms. Face capture is also supported.
Audio, alarm and storage: There is 1 audio input, 1 audio output, 1 alarm input and 1 alarm output, and a microSD slot for cards up to 512 GB for on-board recording.
Who it's for / Works with
It works with the iVMS-4200, Hik-Connect and Hik-Central clients, and supports ONVIF (Profile S, G and T), ISAPI, SDK and ISUP.
Good to know
- This model has no specific anti-corrosion protection (Hikvision's lowest level), so it is not meant for coastal or chemical sites.
- The white light is visible; use IR mode where visible light is not wanted.
