The Hikvision DS-3E0508D-E is an 8-port Gigabit unmanaged desktop switch. All eight RJ45 ports run at 10/100/1000 Mbps, and the switch is plug and play, with a compact plastic body for desktop or wall mounting.

Gigabit on every port: Each of the 8 RJ45 ports supports 10/100/1000 Mbps (IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3ab), and MDI/MDIX auto-crossover means any standard network cable works. IEEE 802.3x flow control is also supported.

16 Gbps switching capacity: The switch has a switching capacity of 16 Gbps and a packet forwarding rate of 11.904 Mpps.

Store-and-forward switching: Each frame is checked before it is forwarded, and the 4K MAC address table learns and ages addresses automatically.

Plug and play, desktop or wall: There is nothing to set up: connect the cables and the switch works. The compact ABS plastic body can sit on a desk or be mounted on a wall.

Good to know

This is an unmanaged switch: it has no web interface, VLAN or other settings.
