The Hikvision DS-PDBG8-EG2 is a wired acoustic glass break detector. An omni-directional microphone sensor listens for the sound of breaking glass and covers up to 8 m across a 120° angle. It runs on 9 to 16 VDC and gives a normally closed alarm output for wired alarm panels.

Key Features:

Acoustic Detection: The omni-directional microphone sensor with digital processing detects glass breaking within 8 m and 120°. It covers float, plate, tempered, wired, laminated, leaded and double-glazed glass from 2.4 to 6.4 mm thick.

Adjustable Sensitivity: Glass break sensitivity is set with a potentiometer, so you can tune the detector to the room.

Clear LED Feedback: Three LEDs show what the detector hears: red for a high-frequency trigger, green for a low-frequency trigger and blue for an alarm. This makes testing during installation easier.

Selectable EOL Resistors: You can choose the alarm resistance from 1K, 2K2, 4K7, 5K6 and 6K8, so the detector matches the end-of-line setup of your panel.

Wide Voltage Input: It accepts 9 to 16 VDC (12 V typical) and has reverse polarity protection, which protects it from wiring mistakes.

Tamper and Mounting: A front tamper protects the detector. It can be mounted on a wall or ceiling.

Good to know: This is a wired, indoor-only detector: it needs a 9-16 VDC supply and a wired zone on your alarm panel.
