Hikvision Wired Dual Beam Selectable Frequency Photoelectric | DS-PI-D100

The Hikvision DS-PI-D100/FM is a wired dual-beam photoelectric (active infrared) detector made of a transmitter and a receiver. The receiver raises an alarm when both IR beams between the two units are interrupted, with a 100 m alarm distance. It is used on windows, fences and walls for intrusion detection.

100 m dual-beam protection: The detector covers an alarm distance of 100 m, with a maximum reaching distance of 1000 m. Because the alarm needs both beams to be cut at the same time, a single small object crossing one beam does not trigger it.

Selectable frequency: Four channels (CH1 to CH4) can be selected. When several beam pairs are installed close to each other, setting them to different channels helps stop them interfering.

Easy alignment: The optical axis adjusts 180° (±90°) horizontally and 20° (±10°) vertically, with a clear one-piece viewfinder for fine alignment. Receiving-light and OK indicators and a testing terminal help confirm the beams are lined up.

Built for outdoor perimeters: The design includes rain, dust and insect protection, and frost and dew protection, with a high-grade aspherical lens and high-power beams.

Alarm and tamper outputs: It provides a Form C relay alarm output (NO/NC changeable) and a separate tamper output, for connection to a wired alarm system. It runs on 10.5 to 24 V DC, non-polarity.

• The set has two units (transmitter and receiver) that must be installed facing each other and aligned.
• It is a wired detector: it needs a DC power supply (12 V DC recommended) and wiring to an alarm system input.
