The Hikvision DS-PDD12P-EG2-WB is a fully supervised two-way wireless motion detector for the Hikvision AX PRO alarm system. It combines passive infrared with 24 GHz microwave detection, covers 12 m at an 85.9° angle, ignores pets up to 30 kg and runs for up to 5 years of standby time on two CR123A batteries.
PIR + 24 GHz Microwave: The detector uses both passive infrared and 24 GHz microwave sensing. Hikvision states the 24 GHz microwave is designed to prevent wall penetration, so the detector focuses on the room it protects instead of movement behind the wall.
12 m Coverage: The detection range is 12 m with an 85.9° angle and 52 detection zones. 3D optics with creep-zone protection give full coverage without a dead angle.
Pet Immunity: Pet immunity is rated up to 30 kg, with Auto, High and Pet sensitivity settings. Hikvision describes it as ignoring animals while recognising a person from the first step.
Stable in Changing Conditions: Digital temperature compensation keeps detection consistent as the room temperature changes, supported by sealed optics and a 6500 lux white light filter. Front and rear tamper protection reports attempts to open or remove the detector.
Tri-X Two-Way Wireless: Two-way RF at 433 MHz with frequency hopping against jamming keeps the link to the panel reliable, with up to 1.2 km range in free space. Low battery and supervision status are reported to the system.
Easy Setup and Maintenance: The detector is fully configurable remotely through the app and can be enrolled by power-up, remote ID or QR code. The batteries are easy to replace and the PCB is protected.

The Hikvision AX PRO wireless alarm system (433 MHz -WB range). The control panel is sold separately.
