The Mercusys MS105 is an ultra-compact unmanaged switch with five 10/100Mbps Ethernet ports. Plug it in and it immediately expands your wired network, with no configuration required. Mercusys describes it as about the size of a credit card, and its fanless design keeps it silent.
Easy Wired Network Expansion: Five 10/100Mbps ports with auto-negotiation and auto-MDI/MDIX let you quickly add wired devices. Mercusys lists computers, printers, IP cameras, smart TVs and game consoles as compatible devices.
Ease of Use: Absolutely no configuration is required: connect the switch to your router, TV or computer with an Ethernet cable and it works.
Reliable Performance: Half/full duplex and MAC address learning give up to 1Gbps of switching capacity, with store-and-forward transfer and IEEE 802.3x flow control.
Who it's for / Works with: Homes, small offices and dormitories (as listed by Mercusys) that need a few more wired ports.
Good to know: The ports run at up to 100Mbps (Fast Ethernet), not Gigabit. This is an unmanaged switch with no web settings or VLAN, and it does not support PoE. Not to be confused with the Gigabit MS105G / MS105GS models.
