The Mercusys MS108GS is an unmanaged 8-port Gigabit switch in a black steel case. It turns one network cable from your router into eight 10/100/1000 Mbps ports, so you can connect computers, TVs, printers, IP cameras and game consoles by cable. There is nothing to configure: plug it in and connect your devices.

Eight Gigabit ports: All eight RJ45 ports run at up to 1000 Mbps with auto-negotiation and Auto-MDI/MDIX, so each port adjusts to the connected device and works with either cable type. Gigabit ports are ten times faster than regular 10/100 Mbps ports, which helps with large file transfers and streaming over the home or office network.

Durable metal casing: The steel housing helps dissipate heat and protects the switch for long, stable use. The switch has no fan, so it runs silently on a desk or in a living room.

Desktop or wall mounting: You can place the MS108GS on a desk or shelf, or mount it on a wall to keep cables tidy.

Plug and play: Connect the switch to your router or computer with an Ethernet cable and the extra ports work immediately. No software, app or setup is needed.

Reliable data transfer: The switch uses store-and-forward transmission with half/full duplex and MAC address learning, and has a 4 Mbit buffer to handle bursts of traffic.

Good to know

This is an unmanaged switch: it has no web interface, VLAN or PoE, and it does not power cameras or access points over the cable. It works from the included 5V/0.6A power adapter.
