Ring Smart Power Meter 100A | Sonoff POWCT

The SONOFF POW Ring (POWCT) is a Wi-Fi smart power meter with a split-core current transformer (CT) that measures current up to 100A. You install it in your electrical panel on a DIN rail and follow the energy use of a room, a circuit or a heavy appliance in the eWeLink app. It also tracks power exported to the grid and has a 2A dry contact output for controlling an external contactor.

Split-core CT, no contact with live wires: The CT clamp opens and closes with side latches and snaps around a cable of up to 15 mm. It measures 0-100A without touching the conductor, which makes installation safer and quicker.

Room and circuit level monitoring: Placed in the panel, the POWCT shows real-time power use per room, circuit or heavy-duty appliance, so you can see where energy goes and find waste.

Bidirectional measurement for solar: POWCT tracks power flow in both directions, including energy exported back to the grid. With a solar inverter or battery storage, this shows how much surplus energy you generate.

6 months of history: Hour-level electricity data is saved for up to 6 months and can be exported as files for analysis or reporting.

Dry contact for load control: The 2A dry contact output can drive an external contactor, so the POWCT can switch large electrical loads on or off, not only measure them.

Good to know

• The 2A dry contact is meant to drive an external contactor; large loads must be switched through that contactor.
• The CT clamp fits cables up to 15 mm in diameter.
• Indoor use only. Installation in the electrical panel should be done by a qualified electrician.
