Sonoff Smart Temperature and Humidity Monitoring Switch 16A | Sonoff THR316

The SONOFF TH Origin THR316 is a Wi-Fi smart switch that turns a connected device on or off and reads temperature and humidity from a plug-in sensor. It handles loads up to 16A on 100-240V, connects over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, and is managed from the eWeLink app or by voice through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Available options: switch only (no sensor), with THS01 temperature and humidity sensor, with WTS01 waterproof temperature sensor, or with MS01 soil moisture sensor.

16A switching: The switch is rated for 100-240V~ 50/60Hz with a 16A maximum load. This lets it switch heaters, fans, pumps and similar appliances directly, as long as their current stays within 16A.

Plug-in sensors over RJ9: Sensors connect to the switch through an RJ9 4P4C jack that supports hot plugging, so a sensor can be swapped without opening the unit. Compatible sensors are the THS01 (temperature and humidity), DS18B20 (temperature) and MS01 (soil moisture).

Automation by temperature, humidity and time: You can set up to 8 automation programs based on temperature, humidity and time. For example, the switch can turn a heater on when the room drops below a set temperature and off again when it is warm enough, without anyone touching the app.

6 months of history: The switch records temperature and humidity data hourly for the past 6 months, and the data can be exported as an .xlsx file. This helps you see how a room, greenhouse or tank behaves over days and months.

Voice control: The THR316 works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, so the connected device can be switched by voice.

Good to know

Wi-Fi is 2.4GHz only (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n). The switch alone does not measure temperature or humidity; it needs one of the compatible sensors. Do not connect a load above 16A.
