The SONOFF Basic DIN Rail (BASIC-1GSP) is a single-channel Matter over Wi-Fi smart switch that mounts on a standard DIN rail inside the distribution board, behind the circuit breaker. It switches one circuit of up to 32A (7680W), measures its energy use in real time and can cut power automatically when limits you set are exceeded.

32A for High-Power Circuits: Rated at 100-240V~ 32A max, BASIC-1GSP is meant for heavy single-phase loads such as water heaters, electric floor heating or EV charging circuits. It takes 4–10 mm² (11–6 AWG) copper conductors.
Double-Pole Switching: When the relay turns off it disconnects both the live and the neutral line, giving full physical isolation of the connected circuit instead of cutting the live wire only.
Real-Time Energy Monitoring: The switch measures voltage, current, power and energy consumption. In the eWeLink app you can see daily and monthly usage, calculate electricity cost and export the history.
Overload Protection: Set your own current (up to 32A), voltage and power limits; when a threshold is exceeded the device switches its output off automatically.
Matter & Smart Control: BASIC-1GSP is Matter certified, so it can be added directly to Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings and Home Assistant, or used with the eWeLink app for remote control, voice control, timers, inching and scenes. Local LAN control keeps working without internet.
Who it's for / Works with: Homes and buildings where a whole circuit should be controlled and metered from the distribution board. Works with eWeLink and with Matter platforms: Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings and Home Assistant.
Good to know: Installation by a qualified electrician only. It must be connected after a circuit breaker, not directly to the grid, and is for single-phase use (100-240V~) only. Adding it to a Matter ecosystem requires a Matter hub/controller for that platform. Indoor use, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only.
