Sonoff Smart Switch /Button M5

The SONOFF SwitchMan M5 is a Wi-Fi smart wall switch with real push buttons, so it feels like a normal light switch but can also be controlled from your phone. It connects directly to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and comes in 1, 2 and 3 gang versions, in the 120-type (US/Magic) and 86-type (UK/MK) wall-box sizes.

Available versions: 1 Gang, 2 Gang, 3 Gang; 120-type (US) or 86-type (UK); Gray (standard M5) or White (M5 Matter edition).

Physical push buttons: Each gang has its own push button that switches its light directly on the wall. Family members and guests can use it like any ordinary switch, while the same lights can also be switched from the app.

Timers and schedules: Set daily routines or countdowns so lights turn on or off automatically, for example outdoor lights at night or a light that switches off after a set time.

Group control and smart scenes: Group lights in different rooms and switch them together with one tap, or create scenes that run several actions at once within the SONOFF eWeLink ecosystem.

Device sharing: Share control of the switch with family members or friends without setting it up again on their phones.

Matter on the White versions: The White variants are the M5 Matter edition, which works with Apple Home, Google Home and Amazon Alexa through Matter. The Gray variants are the standard M5, which also offers an inching setting that turns the light off or on automatically after a set time.

Good to know

Works with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks only. The load rating per gang is lower on the 2 and 3 gang versions (see the table), so check your lighting load before choosing. Match the size to your wall box: 120-type and 86-type are different sizes. Always switch off the main power before installation, and use a qualified electrician if you are unsure.
