Sonoff SNZB-05P Zigbee Water Leak Sensor – IP67 Waterproof with Extended Detection Cable
The SONOFF SNZB-05P is a battery-powered Zigbee 3.0 water leak sensor. Its raised gold-plated probes detect water from a level of just 0.5 mm, and it alerts you through the app and your Zigbee hub as soon as a leak is found.
This listing is the version with the 2 m water leak detection cable, which extends the area the sensor can watch.
Leak and drip detection: The raised probe design detects a 0.5 mm water level and works on metal surfaces without false triggers. A concave collection area on top catches dripping water, so slow drips are noticed early.
Extended detection cable: The detection cable lets one sensor cover a wider area, such as the floor around a washing machine or water heater. Extra cables can be connected in series with no limit on total length.
IP67 and gold-plated probes: The sensor is IP67 rated, so it keeps working in damp places and if it gets wet. The gold-plated probes resist corrosion.
5-year battery life: The CR2477 battery is rated for over 5 years by SONOFF (50 triggers a day), so the sensor can stay in hidden places for a long time.
Alerts and local alarms: When water is detected you get an instant app notification, and Zigbee local scenes can sound the hub's alarm even if Wi-Fi is down.
Who it's for / Works with
Zigbee 3.0 hubs such as SONOFF NSPanel Pro, SONOFF iHost, ZBBridge, ZBBridge-P, ZBBridge-U and SmartThings Hub V3. It can be added to Home Assistant via ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT with a Zigbee dongle such as the SONOFF ZBDongle-P or ZBDongle-E.

Good to know
The SNZB-05P needs a Zigbee hub; it does not connect to Wi-Fi by itself.
In very humid conditions the detection cable may trigger a leak alert.
The 130 m communication distance is measured in open space; indoor range is shorter.
