Sonoff ZBMINIL2 ultra-compact Zigbee smart switch

The SONOFF ZBMINIL2 (ZBMINI Extreme) is a very small Zigbee 3.0 smart switch module that fits behind your existing wall switch. It does not need a neutral wire, so it suits older homes where only the live and switch wires reach the switch box.

Once paired with a Zigbee hub, you can control the light from the app, by voice, on a schedule, and still with your normal wall switch.

Fits small boxes: At 39.5 x 32 x 18.4 mm it fits EU-type, 86-type and 120-type mounting boxes, leaving room for the wiring.

No neutral wire needed: The module works with just the live wire and the light circuit, so you can make an existing light smart without running new wires.

Works with your wall switch: Connect your existing rocker switch or push-button switch to the S1/S2 terminals. The light can then be switched both by hand and from the app.

Low-wattage lights without flicker: It works with lights as low as 3W without an anti-flicker module, which helps with modern LED bulbs.

Timers, scenes and voice control: Set countdown, scheduled or loop timers, use two-way control for staircase lights, and control the light by voice with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Who it's for / Works with

Zigbee hubs such as SONOFF ZBBridge-P, NSPanel Pro, ZBDongle-P/E and Amazon Echo speakers with a built-in Zigbee hub. It can be added to Home Assistant via ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT.

Good to know

A Zigbee hub is required.

The ZBMINIL2 is a Zigbee end device, not a router, so it does not extend the Zigbee network.

Maximum load is 6A. It is for lighting; SONOFF says it does not support inductive loads such as fans, or dimmable LED bulbs.

Do not connect an external anti-flicker module; SONOFF says this may damage the device.

Installation should be done by a qualified electrician with the power switched off.
