Tenda 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch -SG108M

The Tenda SG108M is an 8-port Gigabit Ethernet switch for the desk or wall. It turns one network connection from your router into eight 10/100/1000 Mbps wired ports, with a switching capacity of 16 Gbps, and works as soon as it is plugged in, with no setup.

Eight Gigabit ports: All eight RJ45 ports run at up to 1000 Mbps (2000 Mbps in full-duplex mode) and adjust their speed automatically to each connected device. This gives computers, TVs, consoles, printers or IP cameras a fast and stable wired connection.

Plug and play, unmanaged: There is nothing to configure: connect one port to your router and the other devices to the remaining ports. As an unmanaged switch it has no settings page, which keeps it simple for home and small office use.

Enough capacity for all ports: With 16 Gbps switching capacity, an 11.9 Mpps forwarding rate and an 8K MAC address table, the switch can handle traffic on all eight ports at the same time.

Compact plastic case, desk or wall: The small black plastic case (124 × 59 × 23 mm) can sit on a desk or be mounted on a wall. LED indicators for power and for each port show at a glance which connections are active.

Low power use: The switch uses less than 3 W and runs from a 5V DC power adapter.

Good to know

This is an unmanaged switch: it has no web interface and no VLAN or other settings. It does not support PoE, so it cannot power IP cameras or access points through the cable. The real speed of each connection is limited by the slowest device on that link.
