The TP-Link Omada SG3428X-M2 is a 24-port 2.5G L2+ managed switch with four 10G SFP+ slots, built for multi-gigabit networks. With 200 Gbps switching capacity, a 148.80 Mpps forwarding rate and a 32K MAC address table, it can feed Wi-Fi 6/7 access points, NAS devices and workstations at 2.5 Gbps and uplink to the core at 10 Gbps.

24× 2.5G Ports: All 24 RJ45 ports run at 10/100/1000 Mbps or 2.5 Gbps, so faster devices such as 2.5G access points, NAS and PCs get more than Gigabit speed over the existing copper cabling.

4× 10G SFP+ Uplinks: Four 10 Gbps SFP+ slots connect the switch to servers, storage or a core switch with high bandwidth. SFP+ modules are sold separately; TP-Link notes that only one 10G RJ45 SFP+ module (SM5310-T) can be inserted at a time.

L2+ Features: Static routing (48 IPv4/IPv6 routes), DHCP server and relay, VLANs (up to 4K groups), 8 QoS priority queues, ACLs, IGMP snooping and ERPS ring protection help build a segmented, reliable network.

Omada Cloud or Standalone Management: The switch can be managed on its own through its web interface, CLI (console or telnet) and SNMP, or added to an Omada controller (Omada Cloud-Based Controller, Omada Hardware Controller or Omada Software Controller) to configure and monitor it centrally together with Omada access points and gateways, including from the Omada app and the cloud.

Who it's for: Small and medium businesses, offices and studios upgrading to multi-gigabit Wi-Fi and storage, and Omada-based networks.

Good to know: This switch has no PoE, so access points and cameras need their own power source or a PoE injector. SFP+ modules are not included. Omada centralized management needs controller version 5.15.20 or later (5.15.22 for the Cloud-Based Controller).
