TP-Link 300 Mbps Wireless N 4G LTE Router | TL-MR100

The TP-Link TL-MR100 is a 4G LTE router with a built-in SIM card slot: insert a SIM card and it shares the mobile connection over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi at up to 300 Mbps and through its Ethernet ports. TP-Link rates it for 4G download speeds up to 150 Mbps and upload up to 50 Mbps, with up to 32 Wi-Fi devices connected at the same time.

4G LTE internet from a SIM card: The router has a built-in 4G modem, so it does not need a landline or fibre connection. TP-Link presents it for places such as remote areas, temporary stores, conference rooms and private villas, wherever there is 4G coverage.

Two detachable LTE antennas: The two external 4G LTE antennas can be removed, and TP-Link uses power and low-noise amplifiers to improve sending and receiving for a more stable connection to every device.

Wi-Fi router mode and backup: The LAN/WAN port lets the TL-MR100 work as a normal wireless router connected to a cable, fibre or DSL modem. It can also use the 4G connection as a backup when the wired internet connection fails.

Guest network and access control: A separate 2.4 GHz guest network gives visitors internet access without access to your main network, and access control lets you allow or block specific devices with a whitelist or blacklist.

Easy setup: Setup is done from a web interface, and the WPS button connects devices with one press.

Good to know

Wi-Fi is 2.4 GHz only (802.11 b/g/n), and the Ethernet ports run at 10/100 Mbps. A SIM card and a mobile data plan are not included. Check that your operator uses the 4G bands listed below. The TL-MR100 exists in several hardware versions (V1, V1.20, V2); this page lists only specifications that are the same in all of them, and newer versions add band B28. The 4G and Wi-Fi speeds are maximum rates; actual speed depends on your operator's signal and network conditions.
