The TP-Link TL-SG1008MP is a plug-and-play 8-port Gigabit switch in which every port is 802.3af/at PoE+. It supplies up to 30 W per port with a high 153 W total PoE budget*, enough to run eight PoE devices such as IP cameras, access points and IP phones from one desktop or rack-mounted unit.
All 8 Ports PoE+, 153 W: Every Gigabit port can power a device. When total consumption exceeds 153 W, intelligent power management cuts the lower-priority ports first so higher-priority devices stay powered.
Extend Mode up to 250 m: With the Extend Mode switch on (ports 1–2), data and power reach up to 250 m**, useful for cameras far from the switch. In this mode those ports run at 10 Mbps.
PoE Auto Recovery: Unresponsive or offline powered devices on ports 1–8 are detected and rebooted automatically.
Plug and Play, Fanless Metal Case: No configuration is needed. The fanless metal case works silently on a desk or in a rack (rack kit included per TP-Link).
Who it's for / Works with: Homes, small offices and CCTV installations that need to power up to eight IP cameras, access points or IP phones from one switch.
Good to know: This is an unmanaged switch: no VLAN or web settings. Power is internal (100–240 V AC, power cord). There are no SFP ports.
