The TP-Link Archer T3U Plus is an AC1300 dual-band Wi-Fi 5 USB adapter with a high-gain external antenna for a stronger, farther connection. It offers up to 867 Mbps on 5 GHz or 400 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, connects over USB 3.0, and supports MU-MIMO.
AC1300 Dual Band Wi-Fi: Choose 2.4 GHz for up to 400 Mbps for browsing and social media, or 5 GHz for up to 867 Mbps for gaming, HD streaming and large downloads.
High-Gain Adjustable Antenna: The high-gain antenna reaches your router from farther away for faster and more stable connections. It rotates and adjusts in several directions to find the best signal.
MU-MIMO and USB 3.0: With a MU-MIMO router, the adapter improves the efficiency of the whole network, and the USB 3.0 interface avoids a USB bottleneck.
Who it's for / Works with: Desktop PCs and laptops on Windows that are far from the router and need a dual-band upgrade with a high-gain antenna.
Good to know: This is a Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) adapter, not Wi-Fi 6. Security is WEP/WPA/WPA2 (no WPA3). MU-MIMO needs a MU-MIMO router. Wi-Fi speeds are maximum link rates.
