The TP-Link Archer T4E is an internal PCI Express Wi-Fi card that gives a desktop PC dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi. It reaches up to 867 Mbps on 5 GHz and up to 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, with two detachable external antennas, 2×2 MIMO, Beamforming and an aluminium heat sink.
AC1200 Dual Band Wi-Fi: 802.11ac offers 3× the transfer rate of 802.11n. Browse and email on 2.4 GHz while keeping the faster 5 GHz band free for gaming, HD streaming and other bandwidth-heavy use.
Beamforming and 2×2 MIMO: Beamforming focuses the Wi-Fi signal toward the router for stronger connections even when the desktop is far away, and 2×2 MIMO keeps simultaneous connections for more stable coverage.
Heat Sink for Stability: An aluminium alloy heat sink dissipates the heat generated by the adapter, which helps keep performance stable under load.
Low-Profile Bracket: In addition to the standard bracket, a low-profile bracket is provided for mini tower computer cases.
Who it's for / Works with: Desktop PCs with a free PCI-E slot that need fast dual-band Wi-Fi; backward compatible with 802.11a/b/g/n routers.
