The TP-Link Omada EAP110-Outdoor is a 300 Mbps Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) access point for outdoor installation on the 2.4 GHz band. It has one 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port powered by 24 V passive PoE (PoE adapter included), two detachable external omni antennas, and is managed through the Omada app and Omada controllers.
300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz: The access point uses 802.11b/g/n on the 2.4 GHz band only, with up to 300 Mbps. 2.4 GHz travels well through open outdoor spaces and is supported by almost every phone, camera and smart device, which makes it a simple way to bring basic Wi-Fi to an outdoor area.
Weatherproof outdoor design: The enclosure is weatherproof and comes with pole and wall mounting kits, a waterproof rubber insert and waterproof antennas, so it can be installed outside on a pole or wall.
24 V passive PoE: Power and data run over one Ethernet cable from the included passive PoE adapter, so you only need a power socket indoors where the adapter sits, not at the mounting point.
Omada management: The EAP110-Outdoor works with the Omada app, the Omada Software Controller and Omada hardware controllers, with cloud access through OC200/OC300 or the software controller. It supports up to 8 SSIDs, captive portal authentication, SSID-to-VLAN mapping, client isolation and rogue AP detection.
Good to know
- 2.4 GHz only (no 5 GHz band), and the Ethernet port is 10/100 Mbps, so it suits basic outdoor coverage rather than high-speed use.
- Power is 24 V passive PoE only (adapter included); it does not list 802.3af/at PoE support.
- Hardware versions differ in the enclosure rating: TP-Link lists IP65 for V3 and IP68 for V4.
