The TP-Link TL-SG3452X is a JetStream L2+ managed switch with 48 Gigabit RJ45 ports and 4 10G SFP+ slots for high-speed uplinks. It offers 176 Gbps switching capacity, a fanless design and full integration with the Omada SDN platform for centralised and cloud management.

48 Gigabit ports with 10G uplinks: 48 Gigabit RJ45 ports connect your wired devices, while four 10G SFP+ slots provide high-speed uplinks over fibre (SFP+ modules sold separately). The switch has a switching capacity of 176 Gbps and a packet forwarding rate of 130.9 Mpps.

Omada SDN and cloud management: The switch can be managed on its own through the web interface or command line, or together with Omada access points and gateways from an Omada cloud-based controller, an OC200/OC300 hardware controller or the Omada software controller. With a controller you also get cloud access and the Omada app, and zero-touch provisioning with the cloud-based controller.

L2+ features with static routing: Besides full Layer 2 switching, the TL-SG3452X supports static routing (up to 48 static routes), DHCP server and DHCP relay. This lets it route internal traffic between VLANs itself, for more efficient use of network resources.

Security for business networks: IP-MAC-Port binding, ACLs, port security, DHCP snooping, ARP inspection, DoS defend, storm control, 802.1X with RADIUS authentication and AAA (including TACACS+) help control who can access the network and protect it from common attacks.

QoS, VLAN and multicast: 8 priority queues with 802.1p/DSCP priority keep voice and video traffic smooth, voice VLAN separates IP phone traffic, and IGMP and MLD snooping deliver multicast streams such as IPTV efficiently.

Silent, rack-mountable design: The switch is fanless, so it runs silently, and it fits a standard rack with the included rackmount kit. It has an RJ45 console port and a Micro-USB console port for local command-line access.

Good to know

SFP+ transceiver modules are not included. Omada cloud access, the Omada app and centralised management need an Omada controller (cloud-based, OC200/OC300 hardware or software); zero-touch provisioning needs the Omada cloud-based controller. The TL-SG3452X has no PoE; the TL-SG3452XP is the PoE+ version.
