The TP-Link LiteWave LS1008 is a plug-and-play unmanaged switch with eight 10/100Mbps RJ45 ports, so you can connect more wired devices to your router in seconds. All ports support auto-negotiation and Auto-MDI/MDIX, it runs from a 5V external power adapter and its fanless design keeps it silent.
Plug and Play: There is nothing to configure: connect power, plug in your devices and they are online. Auto-MDI/MDIX on every port means any standard Ethernet cable works.
Green Technology: TP-Link states that power consumption adjusts automatically according to link status and cable length, helping save energy while you expand your network.
Fanless Desktop Design: A compact plastic desktop body (124.6 × 48.7 × 22.8 mm) with no fan, so it stays quiet anywhere in the home or office.
Who it's for / Works with: Homes, school dormitories, small businesses and surveillance setups that need more wired ports for computers, printers, webcams, IPTV boxes and game consoles (as listed by TP-Link).
Good to know: The ports run at up to 100Mbps (Fast Ethernet), not Gigabit. This is an unmanaged switch with no web settings or VLAN, and it does not support PoE.
