The TP-Link Omada OC300 is a hardware controller that centrally manages an Omada network without a PC or server running all the time. It manages up to 500 Omada access points, 100 Omada gateways and up to 100 Omada switches, locally or remotely through free cloud access, the web UI and the Omada app.
Centralized Management Without a PC: The OC300 runs the Omada controller on dedicated hardware, so access points, switches and gateways are discovered, configured and upgraded from one place, with batch configuration, batch firmware upgrades, reboot schedules and captive portal configuration.
Cloud Access with No License Fees: Manage and monitor the network from anywhere through the Omada app or web UI with free cloud access, or keep management on-premises for privacy. Multi-site management is supported.
Business-Grade Hardware: Two Gigabit RJ45 ports, a USB 3.0 port for automatic backup, a fanless design for silent operation and a durable metal casing that can sit on a desk or mount in a rack with the included rackmount kit.
Network Monitoring and Maintenance: The dashboard shows network overview, topology, Wi-Fi, clients and traffic, with abnormal event warnings and intelligent monitoring to speed up troubleshooting.

Good to know: The OC300 is a controller, not a router or switch: it manages compatible Omada devices (see TP-Link's list of Omada models supported by OC300). Stated management capacity is based on laboratory testing. The number of supported switches decreases by 5 for each supported DeltaStream GPON OLT added.
