The TP-Link TL-SF1048 is a 48-port 10/100Mbps unmanaged switch in a standard 19-inch rack-mountable steel case, designed by TP-Link for demanding workgroup and departmental connectivity. All 48 ports support auto MDI/MDIX for plug-and-play installation, and the switch runs fanless from an internal 100-240V power supply.

48 Ports in One 19-inch Unit: Forty-eight 10/100Mbps RJ45 ports in a standard 19-inch rack-mountable steel case bring a large number of wired connections together in one rack unit.

Full Wire-Speed Performance: A non-blocking switching architecture forwards and filters packets at full wire speed: 9.6Gbps switching capacity, 7.14Mpps forwarding rate and an 8K MAC address table. IEEE 802.3x flow control and backpressure help relieve congestion.

Energy-Efficient and Easy to Use: TP-Link's energy-efficient technology saves power, auto-negotiation adjusts each port to the connected device (10 or 100Mbps) and MAC address self-learning means no configuration is needed.

Who it's for / Works with: Workgroup and departmental networks that need many wired ports in a rack, as described by TP-Link.

Good to know: The ports run at up to 100Mbps (Fast Ethernet), not Gigabit, and there are no Gigabit uplink or SFP ports. This is an unmanaged switch with no web settings or VLAN, and it does not support PoE.
