TP-Link 5-Port Gigabit Easy Smart Switch | TL-SG105E

The TP-Link TL-SG105E is a 5-port Gigabit Easy Smart desktop switch: it works plug-and-play like an ordinary switch, and it also offers VLAN, QoS, IGMP Snooping and network monitoring through a web interface and TP-Link's Easy Smart Configuration Utility. Its five 10/100/1000 Mbps ports sit in a compact metal case.

Gigabit Ports: 5 non-blocking 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports with auto-negotiation and Auto-MDI/MDIX transfer large files without slowing each other down.

QoS for Lag-Free Traffic: Port-based, 802.1p and DSCP priority with 4 priority queues, rate limit and storm control keep latency-sensitive traffic such as voice and video smooth.

IGMP Snooping: IGMP Snooping v1/v2/v3 optimizes multicast delivery, which helps applications such as IPTV.

VLAN and Monitoring: Up to 32 VLANs (MTU, port-based and 802.1Q tag VLAN) split the network into groups for security and performance, while port mirroring, cable diagnostics, loop prevention and static link aggregation help monitor and troubleshoot.

Durable Metal Casing: A metal case protects the internals, the design is fanless and compact, and the switch can be placed on a desk or mounted on a wall.

Who it's for / Works with: For home and office networks that need more control than an unmanaged switch, connecting devices such as computers, printers and IPTV boxes to the router.

Good to know: All ports are Gigabit (no 2.5G). The Easy Smart Configuration Utility runs on Microsoft Windows; the switch can also be managed through its web interface. It supports up to 32 VLANs at the same time.
