The TP-Link TL-SX105 is an unmanaged 5-port desktop switch with five 10 Gbps RJ45 ports and up to 100 Gbps of switching capacity. Each port auto-negotiates five speeds (100 Mbps / 1G / 2.5G / 5G / 10G), so it works with 10G NAS and servers as well as Multi-Gig and Gigabit devices.
Five 10G Ports: 5× 10-Gigabit RJ45 ports unlock the full performance of 10G and Multi-Gig devices, with up to 100 Gbps of switching capacity.
5-Speed Auto-Negotiation: Each port senses the link speed (100 Mbps, 1G, 2.5G, 5G or 10G) and adjusts automatically, and Auto-MDI/MDIX removes the need for crossover cables.
Silent Fanless Metal Design: The fanless design runs silently, while the metal casing and heat-dissipation design suit homes and offices. The switch can be placed on a desk or mounted on a wall.
Plug and Play: No configuration is needed: connect power, connect your devices and the network is ready, with 802.1p/DSCP QoS and 802.3x flow control built in.
Who it's for / Works with: For 10G NAS and servers, workstations, gaming computers with 10G PCIe adapters/NICs, 2.5G/5G/10G Wi-Fi access points and 8K video, in LAN parties, home entertainment and small or home offices.
Good to know: Unmanaged switch with no web management page. 10G over 10GBASE-T needs Cat6 cable (up to 55 m) or Cat6a/Cat7 (up to 100 m); 1G, 2.5G and 5G work over Cat5e or better. Each device connects at the highest speed its own port supports.
