The TP-Link TL-WA3001 is a dual-band AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 access point that turns a wired network connection into fast Wi-Fi. It delivers up to 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, has one Gigabit Ethernet port with Passive PoE support, four fixed antennas with Beamforming, and four operating modes.
AX3000 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6: 802.11ax Wi-Fi combines up to 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz for 4K streaming and gaming with up to 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz for everyday browsing and email, and serves many devices at the same time.
Four Antennas with Beamforming: Four fixed high-performance antennas with Beamforming concentrate the Wi-Fi signal towards your devices to extend reliable coverage across the home or office.
Gigabit Port with Passive PoE: The Gigabit Ethernet port carries data and, with the included Passive PoE injector, power over a single cable, so the access point can be placed on a desk or mounted on a wall away from a power socket.
4 Operating Modes and Captive Portal: Access Point (default), Range Extender, Client (acts as a wireless adapter for wired devices such as a game console or IPTV) and Multi-SSID mode with up to four SSIDs and VLANs per band. A Captive Portal page offers a secure guest network with a custom landing page.
Who it's for / Works with: Homes and offices that want to add Wi-Fi 6 to an existing wired network; small businesses such as cafes or salons that need a guest network with a portal page; wired devices such as game consoles and IPTV boxes in Client mode.
Good to know: This is an access point, not a router: it connects to your existing router or modem. It is powered by the included 48V power adapter or the included Passive PoE injector. WPA3 requires client devices that also support it. Wi-Fi rates are maximum link rates.
