The UGREEN 90906 (Nexode DigiNest Cube) is a cube-shaped power strip that combines a 65W GaN USB charger with three AC outlets. It has 2 USB-C ports, 2 USB-A ports and 3 UK-type sockets, so up to 7 devices can be powered at once from one wall socket through its 1.8 m cable.

65W GaN charging: Each USB-C port gives up to 65W when it is used alone, enough to charge a laptop such as a MacBook, while the USB-A ports give up to 18W each. USB-C supports Power Delivery 3.0 fast charging for laptops, tablets and phones.

Power shared between ports: The 65W total is shared automatically when several USB ports are used, for example 45W + 20W on the two USB-C ports. The power allocation table below shows how the output is split for each combination of ports.

Three AC outlets and a 1.8 m cable: Besides the USB ports, the cube has three AC sockets on its sides for devices such as a printer, monitor or lamp. The 1.8 m extension cable lets you bring the power to your desk or bedside.

One main switch: A single switch on the cube turns all connected devices on or off together, so you do not need to unplug them one by one.

Built-in protection: UGREEN states the strip has overvoltage, overcurrent, short-circuit and overheating protection, with Thermal Guard temperature monitoring of the GaN charger.

Good to know

When several devices are charging, plugging in or unplugging a device causes a short charging pause on the other ports while the charger redistributes power. The 65W maximum is for a single USB-C port; with several ports in use, each port gets less. For low-current devices such as a smartwatch, UGREEN recommends using a USB-C port, or one USB-A port alone, rather than both USB-A ports together. This version has a UK plug and UK-type sockets.
