UGREEN Toslink Audio Cable Optical
(1 Meter - 1.5 Meter - 2 Meter - 3 Meter)
Description:
The UGREEN AV108 is a male-to-male Toslink (S/PDIF) digital optical audio cable with a nylon-braided jacket, aluminium connector shells and 24K gold-plated plugs. It connects a TV, game console, Blu-ray/DVD player or other device with an optical audio output to a soundbar, AV receiver, amplifier or speaker with an optical input.
Interference-Free Optical Signal
The fiber-optic core carries the audio as light, so the signal is not affected by radio-frequency (RF) or electromagnetic (EM) interference or ground-loop noise.
Supported Audio Formats
Stereo PCM and compressed 5.1 surround formats such as Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1. Note: it does not support Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD Master Audio (these formats need HDMI).
Firm Connections
The plugs fit standard Toslink optical ports on audio output devices (TVs, game consoles, Blu-ray and DVD players, TV boxes) and audio input devices (soundbars, AV receivers, amplifiers, speakers).
Corrosion-Resistant Connectors
24K gold-plated plugs resist corrosion, and the protective caps keep the plug tips clean when the cable is not in use.
Flexible & Durable
The soft nylon-braided jacket is easy to route and roll up, and the 7 mm thick jacket protects the optical core from daily wear.
Metal Connector Shells
The metal shells reduce strain where the braided cable meets the connectors and help keep the plugs firmly seated.
Good to know:
Optical (Toslink) audio does not carry multichannel uncompressed PCM, Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD Master Audio. For those formats use an HDMI (eARC) connection.
