The UGREEN US161 (item 50751) is a 1.5 m USB-C to USB-C cable that combines three jobs in one: USB 3.1 Gen 1 data transfer at up to 5 Gbps, USB Power Delivery charging up to 60W (20V/3A), and video output up to 4K@60Hz. Its connectors have aluminium alloy shells with nickel-plated plugs.

5 Gbps data transfer: The cable follows the USB 3.1 Gen 1 standard (also called USB 3.2 Gen 1), with transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps. Large files, photo libraries and backups move much faster than over a USB 2.0 cable, for example to an external SSD or a USB-C hard drive enclosure.

Up to 60W charging: With a USB-C PD charger, the cable carries up to 20V/3A (60W). This fast-charges phones and tablets and can power many USB-C laptops.

4K@60Hz video output: The cable can carry video and audio at up to 4K (3840 x 2160) at 60Hz, so a laptop with a suitable USB-C port can be connected to a USB-C monitor with one cable.

Durable connectors: Aluminium alloy connector shells and nickel-plated plugs protect the ends of the cable, which is the part that wears most from daily plugging and unplugging.

Good to know

Video only works when the USB-C port of the source device supports DisplayPort Alt Mode; ports that only charge or only transfer data will not output video. The actual charging speed and video resolution also depend on the charger, the device and the monitor.
