UGREEN USB C to 3.5mm Jack DAC Type C Headphone Amplifier Aux Adapter| 80154

The UGREEN 80154 is a short USB-C to 3.5 mm headphone adapter with a built-in DAC chip. It lets you use wired 3.5 mm headphones, speakers or a car AUX input with a phone, tablet or laptop that only has a USB-C port, with audio playback up to 24-bit / 96 kHz.

Built-in DAC, up to 24-bit / 96 kHz: USB-C ports send audio as a digital signal, so a headphone adapter needs a DAC chip to turn it into the analogue signal your headphones use. This adapter has the DAC built in and supports up to 24-bit / 96 kHz, so you can keep using your existing wired headphones on a phone without a headphone jack.

In-line controls and microphone: The adapter supports the in-line controls of your earphones, including volume control, and the microphone for taking calls. You can adjust the music and answer calls from the earphone remote without picking up the phone.

Braided cable, aluminium shell: The short cable is nylon braided and both ends sit in aluminium alloy housings. This makes the adapter tougher than a plain plastic dongle, and its small size makes it easy to keep in a pocket or bag.

Who it's for / Works with

USB-C phones, tablets and laptops on one side, and devices with a 3.5 mm plug on the other: wired headphones and earphones, car radios with an AUX input, and speakers or Hi-Fi systems.

Good to know

The adapter has one USB-C plug and one 3.5 mm socket only, with no extra charging port, so you cannot charge the phone through it while you listen.
